Moss Poles

‘Moss’ Poles are an attractive and effective way to train tall houseplants as well as twining climbing  indoor plants. Called Moss Poles after the traditional construction using sphagnum moss todays ‘moss’ poles are made with coir the by product of coconut production.

Choose the height that you need and push them into the plants compost. It’s best to add them at repotting to avoid root damage. You can push a cane in if not repotting and slide the moss pole over the cane, making sure the base of the moss pole is just pushed into the compost a very short distance.
