This ‘Heritage Potato’ variety was first introduced 140 years ago and is very well known for it’s superb taste and texture. White skinned tubers with a light-yellow, waxy flesh have the most delicious buttery flavour. When harvested early, small white baby new potatoes with paper thin skins are produced which are perfect for salads. It is only when the potatoes are left longer in the ground that their classic ‘kidney shape’ is created. Ideal for growing in pots and containers or forcing in a greenhouse or under cover.
