Apples with a maggot in them aren’t nice. Rather than spraying for them the Apple Maggot Trap uses the life cycle of the Codling Moth to trap the males at the mating season by attracting them to the trap rather than the female. The trap includes a pheromone that draws the males in and the sticky pad traps them preventing them from reaching the females. No mating, no maggots.
Hang the traps in your apple tree from Mid May until mid-July.
