Small hardy deciduous ornamental tree that is suitable for small gardens and ideal for spring and autumn colour. The tree has lobed yellow-orange leaves in spring that turn green in summer and a bright orange in autumn. Flowers are small later bearing small pink-winged fruits which can add visual contrast with yellow leaves. It can be planted in containers or on borders as a focal point. It can be positioned in full sun, partial shade or light shade. It prefers ericaceous compost (acidic soil). Height and spread is approximately 2.5m x 2m at 10 years. Minimal maintenance required.
