FRITILLARIA MELEAGRIS 9CM

Fritillaria Meleagris has exquisite, checkered flowers, sometimes pure white in  March and April. A rare treasure in the UK countryside but hardy , easy  and perennial in the garden.

Position in a sunny well-drained ordinary soil that does not dry out in summer. Good for rockeries or containers or for naturalising in moist grassy areas.

Planting and Aftercare

Water pot before planting and plant at the same depth as pot. Gently firm surrounding soil and water lightly. In containers, use a good proprietary compost and water as needed. Grown from cultivated bulbs.
