The Dahlia Café au Lait is a decorative variety that flowers from July to September. These soft cream/peach, double flowerheads are produced repeatedly all summer. This Dahlia is great for cut flowers and arrangements, this will help to encourage more flowers all summer. Just keep picking to produce more blooms.
Dahlia Café au Lait grows up to 36″ (90cm) and is ideal for brightening a dull green summer border or in a perennial border.
Dahlias originate in Mexico and thus won’t survive our cold winters. The tubers should be lifted after the first frosts and stored in paper bags in a frost free building until late winter early spring.
