The Bishop (or Arch-Bishop to give him his proper title) is a fine & flamboyant man. So this strong, upright yellow Dahlia has been aptly named. Like other Bishop Dahlias it produces flowers from July to the first Autumn frosts, over deep purple foliage. It often flowers to the end of October and even into November. It’s flowers are produced repeatedly all summer. Keep picking to produce more flowers.

You could have the blessing of Bishops all summer in your home.

Dahlia Bishop of York grows up to 36″ (90cm) and is ideal for adding a glow to your summer borders. Plant it in a Synod of the other Bishop Dahlias.

Dahlias originate in Mexico and thus won’t survive our cold winters. The tubers should be lifted after the first frosts and stored in paper bags in a frost free building until late winter early spring.
